Cookie Monster's ransom note

Cookie Monster’s ransom note

The Cookie Monster has sent out a ransom note to the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung paper for the safe return of a golden biscuit belonging to the Balhsen biscuit company. The biscuit, which went missing earlier this month, has hung proudly over the entrance of the Hannover company HQ since 1913.

The note, written in cut-and-paste newspaper headlines, was sent to the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung paper on Tuesday and reads: “I have the biscuit! You want it and therefore you want on one day in February, to give biscuits to all the children in Bult hospital. But those with milk chocolate, not those with dark chocolate and not those without chocolate. And a golden biscuit for the child cancer ward.”

Although he has since denied his involvement in an official tweet via Sesame Street, the Cookie Monster has been known to do just about anything to get his fix of cookies, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was in fact the truth.

Cookie Monster Suicide Girls

Of course, this is not the first incident that has lead to Sesame Street being embarrassed over the Cookie Monster’s behaviour. In 2008, he modelled – tied, gagged and covered in cookie crumbs – with one of the Suicide Girls.
